KENNOL SHINES IN EUROPEAN DRIFT

The European Drift Championships have seen KENNOL-sponsored cars, drivers and teams shine for the 1st part of 2022 season. Adam Zalewski and Juha Rintanen scored big points through the 4 rounds to date in Drift Masters European Championship. While reigning French Drift Champion Jérémy Mérirès is still defending his 2021 crown.

SHOW AND ENVIRONMENT

As strange as it looks, Drift series are amongst the most virtuous in modern car racing. Despite delivering a very impressive show to the crowd and the TV spectators, many rules and procedures take care of a drastically lowered impact on environment. The National and European series are the first to race only with bio fuels. Some of those race cars are part of the most powerful on the continent. Often above 800, 900 or 1.000HP. And they all race with bio-ethanol!

The tire smoke associated with this type of racing also casts a bad shadow on it. Though, all teams use specifically designed tires to minimize their ecological footprint. Associations work with the promoters of the French Drift Championship for example, to clean the racetrack after each weekend. Helping the process of recycling the lost marbles of rubber left on the tarmac. Who else in the racing industry does the same?

Since we race with KENNOL oils and fluids, we haven’t had any bearing issues. Which is a major asset in such extreme conditions.

PERFORMANCE AT ALL LEVELS

Actually, even the road trucks moving the cars from race to race are bio-fuelled. Which makes perfect sense with the KENNOL methodology. Designing performance oils for the track, and then industrializing them for the road. The KENNOL ULTIMA range delivers those solutions for the race. While derived ranges such as KENNOL ECOLOGY and KENNOL REVOLUTION bring those performance solutions to the everyday drive. With fuel economies up to 3%.

In France, 2021 Champion Jérémy Mérirès is fighting to keep his title. The well-known Switch Riders team did good since the early stages of the season. With a first podium by KENNOL-sponsored Guillaume Gleyo on the opening round. But so far, the reigning Champion is still in quest for a 1st 2022 victory.

KENNOL teams and drivers have also visited the podiums of the Drift Masters European Championship. But so far, technical issues seem to lessen the quality of the season for Adam Zalewski and Juha Rintanen (7th and 8th overall). Let’s push for the penultimate round in 2 weeks, in the stunning Ferropolis industrial colosseum!
