KENNOL

FRANCE AND KENNOL IN LOVE WITH CAR

The KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique has been the only event to showcase Formula 1 cars and races in France this year. And the crowd massively answered to this exceptional opportunity to live the thrill of a true F1 weekend. New records, passion from 23 countries, once again, a KENNOL event shows how important the link to automotive is in France, and in Europe.

RECORD ATTENDANCE

The KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique 2023 kept all its promises. First and foremost, the crowd showed up: no less than 52,000 spectators! Whether they were die-hard fans of old racing cars, or simply curious thanks to the accessibility of the event, they were able to wander through the paddocks, discover the exhibitors, participate in the warm atmosphere of the grandstands during the races, take selfies with their idols, approach legendary cars, etc.

And we know, of course, at KENNOL, that the automobile thing is never tasted as well as live, with all senses in alert. That’s exactly what the younger ones learned from their elders this weekend at Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet.

And the senses were able to enjoy themselves in the best conditions, since despite this new spring date, the public came in large numbers (from more than 23 different countries), under incredible weather!

A TRUE LINK TO CARS

Tens of thousands of spectators were able to discover all aspects of a professional race, but in a family-friendly and communicative atmosphere. Finding oneself in the paddocks of a Formula 1 team is not given to everyone, except at the KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique! And the different categories (F1, F2, F3000, GT, Formula Ford, and even an official event of the 2023 European F3 Championship!) only multiplied the pleasures.

From a purely sporting point of view, the races followed one another, with highlights including recent Formula 1 cars sucha as the Ferrari F1 of Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa, as well as Toro Rosso, Benetton, Lotus, Jaguar and others. There was also a magnificent 6-hour endurance race partly at night! The presence and participation of many former French F1 drivers set the tone for the general atmosphere: passion, fun, competitiveness and performance. But also expected and heard speeches, to claim the legitimacy of such an event, and a collective declaration of love for the car, so criticized by some political blinders.

Jean Alesi, Franck Montagny, René Arnoux, and others were thus the actors of this very successful meeting, with a record attendance, ideal conditions, and an obvious collective momentum to show that we can both defend KENNOL’s environmental values (fuel-saving oils, innovative packaging, new bulk sales concepts, etc.) and raise high the essential pillars of motor racing: passion and performance.
