KENNOL ULTIMA OILS TOP EUROPEAN DRIFT

KENNOL-supplied and sponsored Juha RINTANEN won the 2nd round of the 2023 Drift Masters European Championship, yesterday. The Finnish driver fought his way to the finals all weekend long, before putting his brand new Toyota GR86 “Spartan” in trajectories and fashion that nobody could follow. And claim his first win of the season.

PERFECT OILS FOR BIOFUEL

Juha RINTANEN is the 2013 Drift AllStars European Champion. He also raced in Formula Drift, and is part of the respected drifters in Europe. His new weapon on track for the 2023 season of Drift Masters European Championship is a 2022 Toyota GR86 Spartan. This beast is prepared at 1.000HP and 1.100Nm, and race with bio-ethanol!

Bioethanol being actually mandatory in DMEC for all teams. The championship was indeed the first European one to act this way. Most people don’t see the drift as ecological as it is, because the tire smoke associated with it also casts a bad shadow on it. Though, all teams use specifically designed tires to minimize their ecological footprint.

Everything goes very smoothly, I’m very happy with the car and driving overall. We’ll make KENNOL proud!

PERFORMANCE ALL AROUND THE WORLD

On track, the Swedish event was a very specific one. The difficulty of the trajectory capped the qualifying points to “only” 91.00. When the best qualifiers usually go up to 97 or 98. Juha RINTANEN qualified 6th, and found reigning Europe vice-Champion Jack Shanahan on his road to the finals. The revenge of the 1st round in Ireland propelled the Finnish drifter to another level. And with an absolute calm, he battled and beat all his opponents this day. To take the win, and the 3rd place in the overall 2023 standings.

Meanwhile, in Japan, KENNOL ULTIMA motor and transmission oils were doing good too! Indeed, in the most famous Drift series on the planet, the Formula Drift Japan, several teams were battling too. This season, no less than 6 teams are supplied by KENNOL oils.

Japanese legend Tetsuya HIBINO clinched the second place of Round 3, on the famed Fuji International Speedway. He had to go through a fierce battle against World-class drift star Mike Whiddett, that eventually ended with a withdraw by the kiwi. Another prestigious performance, that proves one more time how reliable and adaptable our oils are.
