Former Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve claimed his 2 first wins in the series. While 2019 Euro NASCAR Champion Loris Hezemans clinched his 2nd Champion title. Becoming the youngest double-champion in history of the European NASCAR.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4517\" src=\"https:\/\/kennol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021_NEWS_H_EuroNASCAR_Champion_1.jpg\" width=\"961\" height=\"517\" \/><br \/>\n[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #999999;\"><span style=\"color: #ee3124;\">\u258c<\/span><strong>FINALS FOR HISTORY<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>They were still 5 drivers, before the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronascar.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">NASCAR Whelen Euro Series<\/a> 2021 finals, pretending to the title. And the tension was intense since the very first free practice on the Vallelunga track. Reigning Champion Alon Day set the fastest lap to take the pole position, closing the points gap on the top-ranking. The <a href=\"https:\/\/kennol.com\/zh-hans\/%e7%b3%bb%e5%88%97\/%e6%b1%bd%e8%bd%a6\/ultima-%e7%b3%bb%e5%88%97\/\">KENNOL ULTIMA<\/a> products such as <a href=\"https:\/\/kennol.com\/en\/products\/ultima-75w140\/\">KENNOL ULTIMA 75W140<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/kennol.com\/en\/products\/ultima-15w50\/\">KENNOL ULTIMA 15W50<\/a> did more than good. And each team and car had the proper weapons to dive into this last battle for the crown. With titles to be awarded for the 3 categories. Vittorio Ghirelli scored many points in the 1st race, by clinching a 2nd position on the podium, taking a very good option for the Sunday race and for the title fight. But the true decider was Canadian&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #999999;\"><span style=\"color: #ee3124;\">\u258c<\/span><strong>2 GREAT PERFORMANCES<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Indeed, former Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve claimed his maiden win in <strong>Euro NASCAR<\/strong>. The Canadian driver took the lead over reigning Champion Alon Day at the 1st turn, and kept the position till the end. He eventually received a 5-second penalty. But even under pressure of title contenders behind him, he managed to maintain a 6.3s gap to reach the Victory Lane!<\/p>\n<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4517\" src=\"https:\/\/kennol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021_NEWS_H_EuroNASCAR_Champion_3.jpg\" width=\"961\" height=\"517\" \/><br \/>\n[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>Before the weekend, Hezemans had a 21-point lead for the title. Dramatically, before the Sunday, he only had 5 points ahead of Ghirelli. And 9 over fellow Italian driver Ercoli. And flies to his 2nd Euro NASCAR win ever! This performance settles another one: Loris Hezemans clinches the 2021 Champion ring.
