For its 1st GP2 race, KENNOL won. Thanks to the great work of Racing Engineering team and the talent of drivers Fabio LEIMER and Julián LEAL, both cars finished in TOP 5 for the opening of 2013 season in Sepang, Malaysia. In a determined and skilful drive swissman Fabio Leimer took the win in saturday’s Feature Race, which sounds like a really nice starting this season for the spanish team.
The Level 5 and KENNOL trio of Ryan Briscoe, Marino Franchitti and Scott Tucker brought their HPD ARX-03b Honda home first in LMP2, and sixth overall, after a 12 hours fight against…. the second KENNOL-sponsored HDP LMP2 car, who finishes a few seconds behind, here at Sebring! Last week-end was KENNOL team’s second LMP2 Championship and third ALMS title and they recorded eight LMP2 class victories from ten races, including an overall 1-2 finish at the Baltimore Grand Prix. It was Level 5’s sixth consecutive win in ALMS endurance races and was as hard-fought as any that have gone by, with a dramatic finish to add to the tension. Way to go!
Le Mans 24 Hours winner Romain Dumas teams with KENNOL again for making his debut in the FIA World Rally Championship in a MINI John Cooper Works WRC, after a successful and amazing experience at the 2012 Pikes Peak Hill Climb last summer. The team did great again by clinching really fast times on the early races, faster than Sebastien LOEB at some point, and finishes better than Peter SOLBERG.
Tucker and Bouchut take their 5th victory from 9 races for Level 5 Motorsports and KENNOL in a huge P2 battle in the VIR 240 at Virginia International Raceway. The team’s results, achieved despite the many incidents and penalties, firmly keeps alive their championship title aspirations and the battle with Conquest Endurance will go down to the wire and the final round of the season in a month’s time.
This year’s “Race to the Clouds” will remain as the most amazing Pikes Peak race to date! For their first involvment in this mythical fight, Romain DUMAS and KENNOL wanted to reach the top of the climb. They actually reached the podium, breaking historical records, and finished the race under pouring melt snow, just 0.017 seconds behind the overall winner, after 20km and 156 turns and with a much smaller car! At the end of two hours of thrilling and punishing racing on the streets of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor area, Level 5 Motorsports and KENNOL delivered the best possible result for their P2 championship aspirations by finishing first and second overall! They ruled the whole P1 armada, and thus take the overall victory for the 2nd time this year after Sebring in February. This had not happen since 2008 in ALMS history…

KENNOL and Level 5 Motorsports took their fifth P2 win from six races in the 2012 American Le Mans Series, at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course near Lexington, Ohio today, and backed up the victory with a third place for Ricardo Gonzalez and Tucker in the team’s sister car. Step by step, the team and the drivers are finding their way to some new ALMS Champion crowns, though the adversity is stronger each race.

The super-fast Canadian Tire Motorsport Park continued to hold out on Level 5 Motorsports and Scott Tucker today as they were denied a fifth consecutive victory in the American Le Mans Series 2012. But once again the team shown a huge potential in adapting pretty fast to this amazing track of Mosport, and would have won without a late penalty for Bouchut who was avoiding an accident…
